The past couple of weeks or so, I have been so busy working, writing almost every day to produce as much work as I can for rewrite of The Friendship Flame. As we all know, you get out what you put in—hard work pays off—and my cheque is completing Chapter 11 of the book, which I have done today! I am giving myself a big ‘Whoop!’ for hard work and success.
I must admit, I am quite proud of what I have managed to achieve in just a few days, and I would like to thank everyone out there for being so patient—it means a lot to me and I promise, after all the waiting, it’ll be worth it!
The Friendship Flame is quite an emotional book, full of deep feelings and a lot of dilemmas, and it’s been so fun (and educational) to write. Although it’s a while off being ready for publication yet, I am aware that every step of the way counts, and every minute I put into it means I am more likely to get something valuable back.
When I haven’t been writing, however, I have been doing what I do best: read! I am currently reading My Sister’s Keeper, a book by Jodi Picoult, which I’m sure most people have heard of. I’m hooked already (I’m only on page 27!), and I’m hoping that’s the effect I’ll be able to give my readers when reading The Friendship Flame—once it is published and available in stores, of course!
Stay tuned, and I’ll let you know how things are coming along! Again, thank you so much for your continued support.
